DEKRA offers two methods to obtain this crucial information:
- Using the DEKRA dongle, we access the manufacturer’s Battery Management System (BMS) data.
- This is not a measurement, but a reading of manufacturer-provided data.
- Results are available in under 5 minutes, without dynamic testing.
- You receive a SoH reading report, not a certified SoH document.
- This method was independently developed by DEKRA.
- Each battery type has been thoroughly analyzed in its new state at our testing center.
- A dynamic test provides a true measurement of your battery’s SoH.
- Results are available in under 15 minutes.
- You receive a neutral and independent SoH certificate issued by DEKRA.

Available Battery Test Models
The Battery Test was developed entirely independently by DEKRA. Each eligible battery and vehicle model has been thoroughly analyzed and referenced in our test center.
Thanks to this database, the State of Health (SoH) of a battery can be quickly determined based on its model-specific resistance.
